To enter, your work must have been published between 1 January 2009 and 30 April 2011. Typography should be an integral part of the design solution.

Entry fees

ISTD members – £65.00 per entry
Non members – £85.00 per entry

Entry fees are non-refundable.

Any printed item must be submitted as an original piece with the exception of work larger than DIN A0 and 3D, interiors etc, for which we accept pictures, boards and/or videos.

All interactive work must be submitted on CD/DVD or via the URL, e.g. for websites. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure the links are live by the time of judging. ISTD will not refund any fees for an entry if it is not able to be viewed for any reason.

Work can only be entered in one category (unless it is part of a series). Two entrants cannot enter the same piece of work into the same category.

Work can only be entered and paid for online. Without pre-payment, ISTD will not recognise a submitted piece of work as a valid entry. After you have filled in the online form and made payment you will receive a confirmation email. Please mark the outside of your package with the entry number(s) from the confirmation email and send your submission to:

By submitting work, you guarantee that the credits on the forms submitted are correct and you grant ISTD and their sponsors the permission to use the entry in any publications or publicity relating to the awards and ISTD.

Work will NOT be returned but may be collected if specifically requested at the time of entry.
