Welcome to the ISTD International Typographic Awards 2011. The Awards are held as an appraisal of current standards in typographic design and are judged by some of today’s leading graphic, interactive and typographic design specialists.

Call for Entries – Now closed

Entries from anywhere in the world are invited, from designers who have used typography as an integral part of their design solution. There are three categories of award:

Certificate of Excellence

Awarded to all finalists, a Certificate of Excellence signifies a high standard of design in conjunction with a high standard of typography.

Premier Awards

Awarded to designers of outstanding submissions, Premier Awards are offered for work that has not only met the criteria for the award of a Certificate of Excellence, but which is also considered outstanding by a majority of the jurors.

Winner of the ISTD International Typographic Award 2011

The winning submission, selected from all of the Premier Awards, is judged to be the most significant typographical achievement, exemplifying excellence.

Certificates are awarded to designers receiving Awards in all three categories. The winning work will be featured on the ISTD website and in the ISTD 2011 Awards publication.

The Awards are organised by members of the ISTD board – all work is undertaken on a voluntary basis.
